Shadow Alchemy:
A free 7-day somatic series for understanding and integrating your shadow.
'The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek.' — Joseph Campbell
Shadow Alchemy, is the trauma-informed process of turning unconscious patterns into conscious embodied choice.
Traditional shadow work ends with insight. This series doesn't. It brings the body and nervous system into the process so the work becomes something you can live, not just understand.
Grounded in neuroscience, Jungian psychology, and somatic practice. Trauma-informed throughout.
In this series, you'll learn how to:
Recognize shadow patterns as survival strategies, not character flaws
Trace reactivity and triggers back to their unmet need
Soften shame through understanding rather than willpower
Bring your nervous system into the process so change actually holds
Reclaim the parts of yourself that were hidden, exiled, or pushed away
What’s Inside?
This 7-part in-depth email series includes:
A trauma-aware teaching (~3–5 min read) on each pillar of Shadow Alchemy
Guided journal prompts to explore unconscious patterns and protective parts
Somatic practices and tools to bring the work into your body
Reflection cues to track change, nervous system shifts, and new choices
You'll also receive the Shadow Alchemy PDF: three beginning shadow work prompts, follow-up questions for deepening awareness, and bonus reflection pages for ongoing practice. This is shadow work done differently.

It’s a tool I’ll be revisiting again and again.
Shadow Alchemy arrived at just the right time, and each email felt like a light shining into the process I’ve been practicing for a year. I did a breathwork clinic with Taren about a year ago, and it was incredibly impactful. It opened the door to feeling and expressing deeper emotions. The Shadow Alchemy series has been a powerful continuation of that work

Hey! I’m Taren.
somatic practitioner, trauma alchemist, and storyteller.
Shadow Alchemy is built on a simple idea: the parts of you that you've hidden, exiled, or over-identified with aren't something that’s wrong with you. They're protectors. Messengers. Echoes of experiences your body is still carrying. This series invites those parts into the conversation in order to understand what they've been trying to do, and from there, to choose something different.
If you want to go deeper after the series, I work 1:1 with people doing exactly this.
